Responsibilities: -Plan and schedule to execute the project on time and on budget by effectively mobilizing labour, equipment, and material resources -Good understanding of the national building code and warranty requirements, make sure all inspections are passed without issue -Maximize site productivity by managing and coordinating the work performance, quality, and efficiency of workers and subcontractors -Interpret plans and specifications according to the scope of the project, ensuring compliance with working drawings and specifications -Manage subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to the project construction schedule and budget -Coordinate projects with municipalities, environmental protection agencies, etc. to ensure continuous operation of services
Requirements: - 3+ years of construction experience - Previous full cycle building experience - Generate weekly field reports - Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills - High degree of integrity and ethics - Safety and first aid
Salary and work hours: $65,000+ per year depending on experience and the number of projects you can manage at a time Monday to Saturday, roughly 8 hours a day Supplemental Pay: Year-end performance bonus 10-20% Benefits: Extended health care Ability to commute/relocate: Surrey, Langley,White Rock, BC | |
