Part-time CDA Opportunity

Praise Dental is a digitized, full service dental clinic that offers comprehensive oral health care including preventative procedures, restorations, dental surgeries and orthodontic treatments.

We are looking for a Certified Dental Assistant to join our busy and upbeat office in Vancouver for 2 days per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays to start and possibly on Mondays as well later on.

Qualifications:

• Min. 1 year dental assisting experience as a CDA
• Ability to converse in English essential and Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred
• Experience with ClearDent preferred
• Comfortable with technology and willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
• Clean and sterilize instruments, disinfect treatment areas, and follow infection control protocols.
• Capture digital radiographs and take dental impressions as per the dentist’s instructions.
• Provide post-treatment instructions, oral hygiene guidance, and answer patient questions about procedures.
• Set up rooms with necessary materials and ensure equipment is functioning properly before patient appointments.
• Maintain order of the treatment room and supplies storage.
• Update patient electronic records
