小心惡質房東

請大家小心惡房東的租屋陷阱 1. 廣告刊登時說包水電瓦斯網路，但在契約上動手腳，在租金包括內容有勾選heat、electricity ，沒勾選gas ，事後要求電費與瓦斯費要均分。辯稱廣告上的全包只是特意要吸引人來看房的，契約上包electricty是指電器，非電費，包暖氣不包gas費用。非常不誠實的詐騙行為，玩文字遊戲。 2.要求半個月租金當租屋押金及另外付一個月傢俱押金，這是完全不合法的，欺騙不懂法律的新移民。 在BC RESIDENTIAL TENANCY ACT Limits on amount of deposits 19 (1)A landlord must not require or accept either a security deposit or a pet damage deposit that is greater than the equivalent of 1/2 of one month's rent payable under the tenancy agreement.
