Program Coordinator/Adminstrator

*Position Summary:
*Under the general direction of the District Manager, the program coordinator serves as the education leader responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school.

The program coordinator will work collaboratively to direct and nurture members of the school staff hired by the Board of Directors and to communicate effectively with parents. The candidate will also be responsible for registration, scheduling, personnel management, emergency procedures, and facility operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Register new students, collect payment and provide invoices to parents
• Coordinate class time with instructor and parents
• Schedule weekly timesheet for all classes
• Host online and in person classes
• Call and emails potential leads and follow up on leads to convert to registrants
• Input student and payment information into database
• Set up classroom and registration desk before the start of class
• Regularly check on classes to ensure everything is running smoothly and solve any issues that may arise
• Keep classes on schedule by ensuring students are set up at their computers and ready to begin and ensuring students are wrapping up and saving their projects prior to the end of class
• Check attendance notes and inform instructors of any students who will be absent
• Taking on various marketing initiatives and familiar with marketing tool such as WeChat, facebook and instagram
• take sales initiative in introducing our programs to potential parents

Qualifications:

• Available to work on site in our classroom
• Completion of at least 2 years in a recognized post-secondary program
• Previous related experience coordinating school programs, camps and experience working with kids and youth is an asset
• Previous sales and customer service experience will be an asset
• Demonstrated professionalism and clear communication in person, by e-mail and on the phone
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Be proficient in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
• Sector Vulnerability Check required under your municipality
• Flexible schedule, able to work on both weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $2,400.00-$3,200.00 per month
