We are an importing company and require a Book Keeper/Admin Assistant to work in our Coquitlam office immediately. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Book Keeper part:
- Payroll management including monthly payroll tax remittance, T4s and ROEs
- GST, PST, WCB returns
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- A/R & A/P, monthly financial statements
- Preparation of year end working papers
Admin Assistant part:
- To be a part of the operation team between office and warehouse to coordinate with freight logistics, Customs and warehouse
- Response customer request by email or telephone
Key skills required for this position include:
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced knowledge of Simply Accounting - Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Self motivated with strong communication skills - Mandarin speaking is an asset
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm (can turn to be full time upon satisfactory performance)
Wages: $15 to $18 plus employee extended health benefit on full time
