Bilingual Sales Representative - Industr

Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond office, is recruiting for a Bilingual Sales Representative for our client company based out of Delta, BC. English communication to client companies and Mandarin communication to head office. Our client is one of the well-established leaders in their specialty of the building materials industry. If you have any type of customer service, inside or outside sales experience related to construction, building materials or industrial product, we definitely want to hear from you! The company is adding a new person to their 5 to 6 person sales team as they are expanding their markets.

Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs
Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to local or head office
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Tracking within computer system or CRM/ make daily or weekly reports

Requirements:
2+ years’ experience working in a customer service, inside sales, outside sales or business development role
Previous role in a leadership or ability to organize-coordinate/ prioritize is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
May eventually need to travel in order to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin is a strong asset to be able to communicate with head office
Strong leadership skills
Fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong drive/ keen to learn
Ability to cultivate and maintain a relationship with prospects and clients

Monday to Friday, office hours with some flexibility to work at office and from home. Occasional before or after hours if necessary to connect with clients according to clients hours.

Initial training pay is $4000-4500/ month. After probation, same draw against commission. For their average sales representative, their income is $100,000/ year.
