身体条件与工作环境

Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dried manufacturing company is recruiting for an

entry level Maintenance Technician for our plants in Langley BC. Reporting to

the Maintenance Manager, this role is ideal for someone looking to start or

grow their career in industrial maintenance. You will support the maintenance

team in ensuring production equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and basic electrical systems.
• Support preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Help perform routine maintenance on production line equipment to minimize downtime.
• Accurately complete maintenance logs, work orders, and basic reports.
• Capable of safely operating maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Work closely with team members and other departments to maintain equipment performance and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Has working experience, technical training or education in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field
• Strong interest in mechanical systems and hands-on work
• Basic understanding of tools and willingness to learn maintenance techniques
• Ability to read basic equipment diagrams or willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Previous experience in manufacturing or maintenance is an asset
• Exposure to PLCs or industrial systems is an asset
• Mandarin language skills are an asset

Physical Environment:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled, refrigerated, or chilled environments.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
