Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Business Development Manager and be responsible for overseeing and managing retail construction projects including budget, schedule, cost and construction.

• Assist with preparation of permit packages by coordinating drawings and required information for application and approval processes, and assist in obtaining all necessary municipal permits.
• Use project management software to maintain and manage project documentation, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders; track responses and update the project management team on status.
• Assist in developing project schedules and monitor progress regularly in coordination with the Project Manager and Site Operations team.
• Monitor site progress and review the quality of completed work; identify and report any deviations from project timelines or specifications to the project management team.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance of existing stores' equipment, respond to store repair requests, and track and record associated costs.
• Attend meetings as required and prepare accurate meeting minutes for distribution.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or construction industry is an asset
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and permitting processes
• Ability to speak Chinese is an asset
