Job description:
Barklays Logistics Corp. is looking for a Sales Representative who is seeking for unlimited financial and career growth potential to join our diverse team of sales professionals in the Vancouver BC area.
Responsibilities
Develop new business in the market and strengthen existing customer relationships and have ability to successfully close business transactions and achieve sales goals.
Follow up and communicate with overseas offices and agents for new customer development.
Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of all Microsoft Office products to conduct professional business information.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, face to face cold calling, networking, etc.
Ability to work both independently and within a team
High energy, with a passion for prospecting and building relationships
Must be willing to meet with branch manager for sales meeting once a week at the Richmond Bc office .
College degree is a plus, but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The following Sales activities are required: Min. 25 cold calls per week, Min. 15 sales visits per week, Min. 8 new accounts per week to be visited, Min. 5 sales leads per week to be generated, Min. 3 new accounts per month to be secured.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years field sales in freight forwarding.
Experience with international logistics processes, systems and solutions.
Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Effective presentation and customer relations skills.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Must be self-motivated and possess excellent negotiation
