Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a deep understanding of sushi techniques. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation. Your expertise in food safety and handling will ensure that all meals are prepared in a clean and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and present sushi dishes in accordance with restaurant recipes and standards.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used in meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and sushi bar area.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi items or seasonal specials.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of various types of sushi, including traditional techniques and modern variations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining high-quality standards in food presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
