Skilled Fabricator

Job Summary
Our commercial window company is looking for skilled Fabricators to join our dynamic team in Delta! The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in various fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal and other materials to create components and assemblies according to specifications. The Fabricator will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Reviewing drawings, cutting materials, and assembling products.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, single-head saw, C-Frame press, and corner crimping machines.
• Utilize hand tools and plasma cutting equipment for precise shaping and cutting of materials.
• Assemble fabricated parts according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring accuracy and quality in the final product.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before delivery or installation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.

Skills

• Successful candidates will possess basic math skills.
• Proficient with hand tools and tape measures.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts safely.
• Ability to assemble components accurately based on blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Experience with glazing is an asset, but not a requirement.
