intermediate accountant

We are looking for a business accountant who has experience in full cycle of business accounting functions, including accounts/books setup, journal entries, accounts reconciliation, product cost analysis, reports/statements generation for analysis, annual tax filing, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Setup initial business accounts/books
• Organize and maintain financial records, journal and ledge entries and inventories
• Generate reports/statements for cost and performance analysis
• Reconcile Journal entries and accounts
• Monitor and report Receivable accounts
• Manage inventory and cost of various products
• Generate year end financial statement, balance sheets, inventory and other reports
• Prepare corporate income tax return and filing with the manner that's both CRA-complaint and takes full advantage of relevant tax credits/deductions/exemptions.

Qualification:

• Minimum 3 years accounting of experience working with private, owner-managed clients in a public accounting firm.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software and tax filing software
• Strong fundamental financial accounting and tax knowledge.
• Inventory management and cost accounting experience
• Excellent knowledge in various of GAAP
• CPA finalist or designated CPA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with a whole sale company will be a Plus
