Junior Industrial Designer

Team and Role Overview

Quicker Instruments seeks an industrial designer to join a rapidly growing Industrial and Medical Device Company. This position will require technical expertise in industrial design functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering group to discuss product ideas.
• Create graphic design images of the prototypes.
• Work with Engineering to research potential usability specifications.
• Conduct market assessment technology based upon usability requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop sketches and models into testable prototypes.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• Technical Diploma, or related major, with 2+ years of experience.
• Prior experience with Computer-Aided Design software
• Prior experience with 3-D printing of small parts.
