Bookkeeper Position
Fresh On Food – Richmond, BC
Fresh On Food is a grocery delivery service and logistics company helping to bring fresh food to customers throughout the Metro Vancouver region efficiently and with maximum convenience in mind. From our facility to our customers’ homes, the care we take at each step to deliver quality products and exceptional service is what drives our company. We are looking to hire passionate and motivated candidates for our team!

Requirements
Bookkeeping certification or degree/diploma in related field
Attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent data entry skills
Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Knowledge of full range of bookkeeping practices
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
Duties
· Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
· Allocate and post financial transaction details to subsidiary books
· Transfer data to general ledger
· Reconcile and balance all accounts
· Draw up financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)
· Track and maintain inventory records
· Maintain internal control systems
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits
· Prepare and process payroll
· Comply with relevant reporting requirements
· Calculate and prepare tax payments
· Assist with budget preparation
· Assist with audits
· Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
