Job Title: Systems Development Manager
Work Locations: 40-10551 Shellbridge Way, Richmond, BC, Canada V6X 2W9
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $37 per hour and $34 under probation
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering is required;
- More than 5 years’technical leadership experience in system development, system analysis, data administration, or computer programming, including supervisory experience working through large system development projects;
- More than 10years of project management experience and proficiency in Java, Python,C#, UNIX / Linux, PL / SQL and Oracle database, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, studious, responsible, careful and quickthinking, outstanding external communication and teamwork ability;
- Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues withfast pace under pressure with heavy workload;
- Rich experience in mentoringteam members.
Job duties are as follows:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of systemdevelopment and information systems of the departments and companies;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for system development and operations;
- Meet with customersto communicate system development requirements, specifications, costs and timelines and other specific requirements;
- Directand manage teams of system development personnel to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer software, networks and information systems;
- Control the budget and expenditures of the departmentand project;
- Recruit, coachand supervise computer analysts, software development engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel and monitor their professional development, training and performance;
- In charge ofthe overall design and assignment of the business system and related technical review and develop long-term business system development strategies;
- Identify and minimumproject risk;
- Ensure advanced technologytransfer by training, coaching and supervising team members on the technical and functional processes;
- In charge of team building and improve the whole performance through firm directions, effective coaching and humanized coordination that drive the project
- Any other duties as assigned by general manager.
