Staff Accountant - PART TIME POSITION

A small growing CPA firm in Richmond is looking for an ideal candidate to grow the practice as a team. The candidate should be comfortable working in small office environment and able to work independently.

This permanent part time position requires 25 to 30 hours a week and must be available in daytime weekdays. Extra hours and available on Saturdays will be required during tax season(s).

- For this position, we prefer that you have the followings: - 3 years’ full-time bookkeeping skills using QuickBooks, working experience in the accounting firm is an asset. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Profile. - Good time-management and organizational skills. - Effective communication with people in both English and Mandarin or Cantonese - Diploma in Accounting is required for this position. - License CPA from other countries/ CPA candidate is a great asset Your main responsibilities will be:

- Full cycle bookkeeping for our clients including payroll, A/R, A/P and accounts reconciliation.

- Create monthly report and Financial Statements

- -Preparation of working papers

- -Use of Profile and ablet to work on T1 and T2, T3, T4, T5 and other tax related program

- Handling CRA and client’s enquiries and able to provide solutions

- Managing filings
