Quality Control Inspector at Richmond food processing plant

Your main tasks will include conducting the packaged product and raw material inspection (labels, codes, quality inspections) in boxing and warehouse and carrying out the labeling activities on daily basis.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: 

• Inspect in-process and finished products in warehouse and packaged product area by visual inspection to ensure correct labels and codes are applied
• Inspect receiving events and incoming materials to ensure correct products are received
• Inspect in-process labeling and boxing activities
• Monitor warehouse activities and housekeeping GMP
• Request warehouse team and operation team for correction action
• Document all inspection logs and corrections
• Investigative inspection on reject products

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Canadian secondary school graduation
• Ability to read and write English. Knowledge of other languages such as Mandarin Chinese, would be an asset
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with all employees
• Flexible to working hours and available for shifts on weekend if required
